Meet Amy

Some people bring donuts to work. Amy Tran brings a full transformation. Ask anyone she works with: she's the one who takes a plain, ordinary room and — with an eye for the moment and a car trunk full of supplies — turns it into the event everyone's phone comes out for. It was never her job. It was just what she did.

It isn't a coincidence. Amy is a board-certified music therapist by training — someone whose actual profession is understanding how a room, a moment, and an atmosphere make people feel. Event styling is that same craft with balloons, linens, and light.

Eventually the question "you should do this for real, you know that?" got asked enough times that the answer became Amaranth Events.

The name is her favorite color, pressed into a flower: the amaranth is a purple bloom that, in Greek legend, never fades. It's also almost Amy's name — which felt like a sign.

And Ruth

Great setups are a two-person job, and Ruth is the second set of hands and the second opinion — styling, production, and keeping the balloon count honest.

What we believe

  • The room is the gift. A transformed space tells people they matter before a single word is said.
  • Flat quotes, no surprises. The price you approve is the price you pay.
  • We do decor, not catering. Specialists beat generalists — we make your caterer's food look even better.

Those three beliefs have a longer story — the full why, how, and what of Amaranth Events lives on our approach page.
